About Us The Photo-Art Association of Singapore (PAS) was founded in
1964. It is a non-profitable society. The PAS's aim is to promote the art of photography
and to raise the standard of photography amongst its member. How to Become a Member of PAS Any person who is interested in photography and agrees to
the rules and regulations of the society may apply as a member. Any person who intends to
apply for membership must complete an application form. Entrance Fee is S$30 and Annual
Subscription is S$36. Exhibition & Competition The PAS holds the International Photo-Art Exhibition in
every 2-years. It is recognized by the Photographic Society of America (PSA). This
Exhibitions is accepted for the Star-rating in PSA. Photographic Courses The PAS organizes courses for its members. The courses
include Basic Photographic and Darkroom Course. For more information, please check out
with the club. Club House Facilities The PAS has an air-conditioned darkroom, which contains 5
enlargers of color as well as black and white printing. Any member can make use of it at a
nominal sum by booking in advance. A library for its members to read and for reference. An
air conditioned photo-studio with fully equipped accessories for courses use as well as
for members of the lighting group to create their in-door photographic techniques. Photographic Outing Every Sunday, the PAS organizes photographic outing for its members in Singapore. It also
organizes a few overseas trips within a year. Associateship & Fellowship The PAS Associateship and Fellowship are open to its members and are awarded to those whose master pieces can satisfy the Title Awarding Committee of the Standard in their techniques. Successful applicant has the right to use the letter APAS and FPAS, as long as they remain to be member of the Association.
